Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni's much-awaited web series 'The Family Man 2' is facing a lot of heat from Tamil people after the makers portrayed members of a Tamil group as a terrorist organisation.
The recently released trailer showed the Tamil rebels fighting for their interests in Sri Lanka, joining hand with ISIS to harm the nation. However, this didn't go well for the people of Tamil Nadu.
They allege this series is showing the Tamilians on screen like terrorists and this is an attempt to ruin the years-long struggle in Sri Lanka.
Now, Tamil actor and politician Seeman has demanded an apology from the South siren for playing the role.
However, Samantha is lip-locked in this issue and the makers refused to stop the premiere of the web series despite objections from Tamil groups.
