Senior actor Rajasekhar's father, Varadarajan Gopal, is no more. He died after battling an illness at the age of 93. Gopal was being treated at the City Neuro Centre in Hyderabad at the time of his passing away.
Gopal was married to Andal Varadarajan, who breathed her last in 2017. The couple has five children, three of them being sons. Rajasekhar was the second son. Gopal's mortal remains will be flown by air to Chennai on Friday morning for the last rites. The departed soul served in the police department as a DCP of Madras, the erstwhile name of Chennai, decades ago.
On the work front, Rajasekhar is expecting the theatrical release of 'Sekhar' in January 2022.
