Bandla Ganesh is making a debut as a hero in 'Degala Babji'. Directed by debutant Venkat Chandra, its trailer was today released at the hands of director Puri Jagannadh. Swathi Chandra has produced the remake.
Ganesh has played the role of a murder suspect in this one-actor thriller. The heavy-duty lines heard in the trailer indicate that Ganesh's character, Babji, comes from a dark backdrop. He has gone through a lot of suffering and shares his story during the police interrogation in an episodic manner.
The makers have highlighted what is unique about the movie. "For the first time on the Telugu screen, a single-actor movie is being made. There are other characters as well in the movie. But, we only hear their voices, we don't see them," they said.
With Art Direction by Gandhi Nadikudikar, the film has editing by SB Uddhav. If Arun Devineni is the cinematographer, its story and dialogues are by R Parthiban and Marudhuri Raja, respectively. Lynus Madiri has composed the music.
