At the pre-release event of 'Republic', Pawan Kalyan famously questioned Mohan Babu's silence on the "unfavourable" attitude of the AP government towards the Telugu film industry. Soon after, Mohan Babu said that he will answer Power Star's allegation after MAA elections on October 10.
Meanwhile, Manchu Vishnu has said that Pawan Kalyan is a part of the Telugu film industry. He added that he has distanced himself from Pawan's criticism of the AP government much like the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. "If he feels I have done so, the same question should be asked to the members of the film chamber who have also distanced themselves from his statement," the 'Mosagallu' actor has been quoted as saying by a national daily.
The MAA elections will be over by Sunday evening. The counting of votes is expected to be completed by early Monday morning.
