Popular Kannada actor, Superstar, Puneeth Rajkumar (46), son of Kannada cinema legend Dr Rajkumar is no more. He succumbed to a heart attack at Vikram hospital following chest pain.
Sandalwood's most famous actor Puneet Raj Kumar was rushed to the hospital on Friday morning after he suffered a heart attack. It was reported that he was working out in the gym when he suffered a heart attack.
ANI gave an update on him a while ago: "Puneeth Rajkumar was brought to the emergency department at 11:40 am. He was non-responsive and was in Cardiac Asystole and Advanced cardiac resuscitation has been initiated: Vikram Hospital, Bengaluru."
Termed as the most happening hero of Kannada cinema, Puneeth is the son of superstar Rajkumar. He started his career as a child artist with 1985 film Bettadu Hoovi, and even won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Shivarajkumar to hold a press meet on the status of actor Puneet Rajkumar. Also, the government has alerted the police and respective departments to control the law & order situation.
It is to be noted that Bangalore was shut down for 3-4 days when his father Raj Kumar passed away.
