A charity cricket match will soon be held to help out underprivileged kids who have no means to pursue education. The proceeds from the match will also go into funding eye donation and blood donation camps. The match will be held under the aegis of East West Entertainment. Tollywood Cricket Association has received the support of actor Srikanth, who is the captain. Tarun is its Vice-Captain.
Speaking about the agenda, East West Entertainment's CEO Rajeev said, "It was in 2019 that we kicked off the Celebrity Cricket Carnival. Every match since then has been played for the purpose of charity. Due to the pandemic, we couldn't conduct matches in 2020 and 2021. This year, the carnival will be celebratory. Dancers, singers and other entertainers will be there to make the tournament special."
The match will be held on September 24. The participants will have to take up in a bidding process. A spectator strength of 15,000 is expected to be present.
Sudheer Babu, Thaman, Sundeep Kishan, Nikhil Siddhartha, Sharwanand, Nani, Prince, Bhupal, Allari Naresh and others will throw their weight behind the tournament. Sunil will be giving a performance. Two or three heroines will also give performances.
