'Gaalivaana', a web series produced by BBC and NorthStar Entertainment for ZEE5, is at the fag end of its production works. The family crime thriller, co-starring Radhika and Sai Kumar, has entered the last schedule.
On Tuesday, the makers said that director Sharan Kopisetty is telling an emotional, engaging and thrilling tale. Yesteryear actress Radhika observed that the series has got well-written characters and that she is happy to have collaborated with producer Marrar and actor Sai Kumar.
Dialogue King Sai Kumar noted, "This web series will be not only thrilling but also emotional and entertaining. Sharan's narration got me hooked and I am here. I am confident that 'Gaalivaana' will be a sure-shot hit."
Producer Sharath Marrar is counting on the story as well as the performances. Besides the lead actors, he suggested, Nandini Rai, Chandini Chowdary, Chaitanya Krishna, Ashritha Vemuganti, Tagubothu Ramesh and several other talented have given their best. He also lauded director Sharan's talent.
Padma Kasturirangan, Vice-President, Telugu original content (ZEE5), said that the web series will have a second season. She also referred to 'ATM', the other recently announced ZEE5 Original, which is written by director Harish Shankar.
The director said that 'Gaalivaana' is a crime thriller with a myriad of emotions. The likes of Tagubothu Ramesh are looking at an image makeover, thanks to the series.
The web series has cinematography by Sujatha Siddhartha, while costumes are by Rekha Boggorappu. Art Direction is by Pranay Naini, while Santhosh Naidu is the editor.
