'Gaalivaana', a web series produced by BBC and NorthStar Entertainment for ZEE5, is all set to stream from April 14. Its trailer was released today at the hands of Akkineni Nagarjuna.
The crime thriller is touted to be high on suspense and emotions. Radhika Sarathkumar's character takes the centerstage in the trailer. We see her resolve to avenge the murder of her daughter and son-in-law even if it means she has to commit murder. Dialogue King Sai Kumar has played Radhika's husband. We sense that the family members indeed kill the villain, only to face a challenge in covering it up.
"Revenge is a key element of the series' story. Quality-wise and visually, the series is going to be strong. While crime thrillers are many, 'Gaalivaana' has motherly sentiment at its core," the makers today said.
The web series also features Chandini Chowdary, Chaitanya Krishna, Ashritha Vemughanti, Sharanya Pradeep, Nandini Rai and others.
