'Liger' recently completed its shoot in Mumbai. The Vijay Deverakonda-Puri Jagannadh movie, which is a pan-India release, will head to theatres on August 25.
The buzz is that the producers of the film have pocketed a massive OTT deal. If news reports are anything to go by, Disney+ Hotstar has shelled out Rs 65 Cr for all languages, including Hindi. This is a solidly humongous amount.
Previously, news reports said that Amazon Prime had laid its hands on the project. But the reports may be untrue.
So far, there is no official word about the same.
Meanwhile, Vijay and Puri are gearing up for the launch of 'Jana Gana Mana' soon. The film will be shot this year.
