'Kalingapatnam', starring Rithwik Chillikeshala and Chitra Shukla in the lead, is directed by P Nani Babu. Produced by DL Productions, the film is produced by the male lead himself. The First Look of the movie was today released at the hands of Rahul Yadav, who is the producer of 'Agent Sai Srinivas Athreya' and 'Malli Raava'.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Yadav said, "The motion poster is exciting. It seems to be different for the looks of it. I know the struggle a producer has to go through in bringing out a film. I congratulate Rithwik for handling production works while being a male lead. The entire team seems to have really worked hard."
'Lakshya' director Santosh Jagarlapudi said, "I congratulate the team of the film. The motion poster is quite interesting. I appreciate the confidence of the producer to release his film during the pandemic."
Actor and producer Rithwik said, "I am a dancer but there are no songs in the movie. I have tried to make an entry by doing a film that is different from the beaten commercial path. Besides writing the story, I have also done RR work for this movie. We have completed the production works as well as editing. Post-production works are going on. They will be completed in 20 days. I faced a lot of obstacles while making this film. I resolved that, even if I die during the pandemic, I have to die fighting. I am looking forward to the audience's reception."
Bindu Bhargavi, Uma Maheshwara Rao, Ambati Srinivas, Jabardasth Immanuel and others are part of the cast. Music is by Subhankar. Bunny & Nanaji have done cinematography.
