Since 'Agent' is a spy thriller with patriotic and action elements, producer Anil Sunkara has decided to go for a pan-India release. The film will head to theatres in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
And a riveting teaser and what looks like an adrenaline-filled one will be released on July 15.
The makers are touting the film as a mix of action and style. Akhil Akkineni's swag is billed as a Unique Selling Proposition for the expensive outing. "He is playing a wild role in the Surender Reddy-directed actioner," the makers added.
The film has Sakshi Vaidya as the heroine. With music by Hip Hop Tamizha, it has Mammootty in a key role. With the story penned by Vakkantham Vamsi, the film has cinematography by Rasool Ellore.
'Agent' is currently in the last leg of the principal photography.
