Suriya awaits the theatrical release of 'ET' on March 10, just a day before the arrival of the Tsunami called 'Radhe Shyam'. In the Telugu States, the Prabhas-starrer has got incomparably higher craze going for it.
Despite the heavy competition, can Suriya turn the tide? Advance bookings have begun for 'ET', which is directed by Pandiraj. If the Day 1 collections are decent and the 'word of mouth' publicity picks up, then it will be proof that Suriya is no pushover.
'Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa' and 'Jai Bhim' were direct OTT releases. The former would have easily been a hit had it been released in cinemas in normal times. But 'ANHR' looked more universal and was highly commercial. 'Jai Bhim' was more a Tamil film. 'ET' is commercial but the trailer exudes Kollywoodish nativity. It will take massively positive feedback from the audience for the Telugu version to brave the challenge posed by Prabhas' movie.
