Akhil's 'Agent', Nithin's 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's 'Yashoda' are scheduled to hit the cinemas on August 12. Of these, the first one is said to have excused itself from the box office race unofficially due to a delay in the completion of production works.
And going by some unofficial developments in the Telugu film industry, Nithiin's action entertainer and Samantha's drama, too, might have to think of changing their release dates in due course of time.
It's because Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan are believed to be planning to release 'Godfather' on August 11. It will be a hard time for any midsized movie to compete with a Megastar movie. In the best case scenario, at least one of the two movies ('Macherla Niyojakavargam' and 'Yashoda') will be pulled out.
'Godfather', a remake of 'Lucifer' (Malayalam), also features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana and Salman Khan. It is directed by Mohan Raja.
