It was on 28 May 1923 that the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao was born. The news is that his proud son Nandamuri Balakrishna is going to kick off his father's birth centenary celebrations this May 28 at the latter's birthplace Nimmakuru, near Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
"This event will be held at the birthplace of the Vishwa Vikhyatha Nata Saarvabhouma. Another grand event will be held at Guntur and Tenali on the same day," the organizers today said.
Balakrishna will be doing so in his capacity as a TDP leader and Hindupur MLA. TDP cadres are expected to participate enthusiastically in large numbers. Elaborate arrangements are being made for the big day.
As for Balayya's 107th movie, it is directed by Gopichand Malineni. About 50% of its shoot is already over.
