Celebs, fans join Nandamuri family to celebrate 100 years of NTR

NT Rama Rao, the legendary thespian and statesman who founded the TDP and became Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister for the first time in the 1980s, is a revered personality in the Telugu land. His birth centenary today has been an occasion to remember his unmatched contributions. The Nandamuri family has been participating in various events throughout the day to celebrate his legacy. Balakrishna and Jr NTR have written heart-felt tributes, with the latter urging his grandfather to be reborn and bless the Telugu land.

The Nandamuri family has been joined by the who's who of the Telugu film industry in writing rich tributes. From the Megastar to actors like Ram Pothineni, they have all made social media posts remembering the great man.

Chiranjeevi described NTR as a Yuga Purushudu who will have a place in the hearts of the Telugus for perpetuity. He tweeted that NTR brought back the self-respect of the Telugus.

Venkatesh, whose 'F3' was released in theatres this Friday, observed that NTR was a great personality who made the Telugu language, Telugu people and the Telugu land glory in victory. "He believed that people are gods and society is a temple," Venkatesh wrote.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan called NTR Indian cinema’s pride. "Remembering the legend who inspired millions to not only watch cinema but also be a part of it," he added. Ram Pothineni tweeted, "Some saw him as an ordinary man..Some saw him as a God..but, in the end, everybody realized that he was a man sent by God! The Pride of every Telugu soul!"

Venkaiah Naidu, the Hon'ble Vice-President of India, described NTR as a leader of the masses who cared deeply for the welfare of the people. "His iconic performances enthralled the audience for many decades," he added.

Several others also tweeted about NTR. Harish Shankar, Anil Ravipudi, Krish Jagarlamudi, writer-director BVS Ravi, Sreenu Vaitla, and many others hailed NTR.
