It has been a year since Dr. Jyothirmayi K set up Cherish Children's Clinic in Hyderabad's Kondapur. Located on the Botanical Garden Road near Chirec School, the clinic has so far treated more than 2,500 children in the past year.
A Pediatrician and Pediatric Allergy and Immunology Clinic, the centre has been rendering primary care such as vaccination as well. Providing nutritional assessment, treating childhood infections, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) Treatment, Lower/Upper Respiratory Tract Infection Treatment, among others, has also been carried out.
"We set up the clinic to be child-friendly. My focus is on minimizing repeat visits by patients so that children don't have to go through the pain of seeing the doctor time and again. The ambiance of my clinic has been designed in such a way that it feels like home for kids. I recommend easy remedies for parents to implement without relying on the pediatrician every time their child needs help.
