'Jaan Say' is touted to be a new-age crime thriller directed by debutant S Kiran Kumar. Produced by Krithi Entertainment Productions, a new banner, the film is also written by its debutant director.
"Our film is a thriller but it has also got a love story as an undercurrent. I come from a non-film background and decided to wield the megaphone out of my passion for movies. The production will be wrapped up by the end of November," the new director said.
Ankith of 'Johaar' fame has been roped in to play the male lead. Thanvi is the heroine. Even though relatively fresh faces are fronting the thriller, the producer has spent upwards of Rs 10 Cr. The investment may well be worth it, for the release is going to be multi-lingual.
Several well-known senior actors such as Suman, Ajay, Tanikella Bharani, Surya, and Banerjee are part of the cast. Besides, Ravi Varma, Ayesha, Leela, Banerjee, and others will also be seen.
Sachin Kamal (music), MR Varma (editing), Mohan Chary (cinematography), P Madan (dialogues) have worked on the film.
