"Mischief, marriage and a ‘happily ever after’, but Ammu’s fairy tale had something else in store for her (sic)," Amazon Prime Video today said, unveiling the teaser for 'Ammu', its upcoming show.
'Ammu', starring Aishwarya Lekshmi in the lead, will start streaming in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi from October 19.
Aishwarya, who was recently seen as a boatwoman in 'Ponniyin Selvan-I', is also known for Satya Dev's 'Godse'. She will be seen as a victim of marital violence in 'Ammu'. Simha and Naveen Chandra, the happening Telugu actor who was recently seen in 'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga', have got prominent roles.
Helmed by Charukesh Sekar and produced by Karthik Subbaraj on Stone Bench Films, the show is a thriller.
