Kollywood filmmaker PS Mithran has revealed that he has been penning a script for Akhil Akkineni. It goes without saying that he is doing so at the behest of Akkineni Nagarjuna, whose Annapurna Studios will be bankrolling the project if it falls into place. Mithran is known for 'Abhimanyudu' ('Irumbu Thirai' in Tamil) and the upcoming movie 'Sardar', starring Karthi.
The film will most likely be a pan-India project. The scale of this project will be determined by the range of success that 'Agent' is going to witness. 'Agent', directed by Surender Reddy, is Akhil's next movie. If the spy action-thriller becomes a big hit, Nag will move heaven and earth to make the Mithran directorial a big-scale multi-lingual release.
In other news, Nag is also firming up a project with director Mohan Raja of 'GodFather' fame. After burning hands by collaborating with Tollywood filmmakers like Rahul Ravindran and Praveen Sattaru, Nag is clearly showing interest in filmmakers belonging to other languages.
