Not many know that director Srikanth Odela, who is basking in the glory of 'Dasara', is formerly an assistant of director Sukumar. He was thoroughly influenced by 'Rangasthalam'. The influences are apparent in how Nani's film unfolds in terms of its ambience, the get-ups of its main actors, sensibilities, etc.

'Ravanasura', 'MCA' writer Srikanth Vissa wrote the dialogues for 'Pushpa: The Rise'. He is also working on 'Pushpa 2'. Vissa is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after writers in Tollywood. He has learned a great deal by working under Sukumar.
Jakka Hari Prasad, after the success of 'Playback' (2021), must be planning to make another high-concept thriller. Vemareddy is another of Sukumar's students who wants to carve a niche for himself as a filmmaker.
