'Raa Raa Penimiti' is the title of an upcoming movie starring Nanditha Swetha of 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' fame. Produced by Sri Vijayanand Pictures, the single-character film is helmed by Satya Venkata Geddada. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, music director Mani Sharma said that the director came up with a very good story. The Melody Brahma thanked him for giving him the opportunity to compose nice songs. The composer also lauded the performance delivered by the actress.
Nanditha Swetha confessed that she was afraid initially to take up the experimental movie. She knew that it would be an adventure. "I never thought that there would be an opportunity to do a single-character movie. I am really lucky to do this film," she added.
"I felt very happy after seeing the first copy. This movie is about a newly married girl who falls for her husband," the heroine said, describing the film as an emotional package.
Master Siva Shankar's choreography is touted to be a highlight. The film's director said, "'Raa Raa Penimiti' is about a newly married girl waiting for her husband. Did he come or not? You have to watch the movie to know the answer."
Ram Kumar's cinematography is billed to be a major highlight. While only Nanditha will be seen on the screen, many other voices will be heard: Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Sunil, Saptagiri, Hema, and Annapoornamma have dubbed for different unseen characters.
The film's release date will be announced soon.
