'Bholaa Shankar', led by Chiranjeevi, is going to be released in theatres on August 11. Director Meher Ramesh and team have locked its running time.
The film is 159 minutes long, as per its CBFC certificate (U/A).
The masala entertainer will celebrate its pre-release event at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad on August 6.
Set in Kolkata, the film also features Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh and Sushanth. Vennela Kishore, Sayaji Shinde, Ravi Shankar and others are also part of the cast.
The film has music by Mahati Swara Sagar. In a recent interview, cinematographer Dudley said that some changes were made to the Tamil original 'Vedhalam' in keeping with Chiranjeevi's image. "Everything was a collective decision. The hero's look, taking and other aspects are different from how they were in the Tamil original. When you are remaking a movie, your product has to be better than the original. Otherwise, there is no point in a remake," he said.
