Megastar Chiranjeevi is going to do a fantasy film directed by 'Bimbisara' maker Vassishta. The project was made official on Tuesday by UV Creations. He is not the only major southern Indian actor who is currently doing a fantasy film.
Suriya is also committed to doing a socio-fantasy subject. This one will be directed by 'Karthikeya 2' director Chandoo Mondeti. As per the director, the untitled pan-India outing is going to have the four Vedas as a mythical hook.
But this project might take about two years to go on the floors. Mondeti's immediate project is Naga Chaitanya's 23rd film, produced by GA2 Pictures. This is a big-scale project that will be completed within a year.
Meanwhile, Suriya will have to complete his present commitments - two of which are going to take longer than usual.
Suriya will be seen in 'Kanguva' in early 2024. Directed by Siva, the film is produced by UV Creations. It was recently confirmed that the invigorating film is going to be released in 10 languages in 3D format. Devi Sri Prasad is its music director.
