In the recent 'Salaar', Prabhas' Deva and Prithviraj Sukumaran's Varadha played friends-turned-foes. A similar beat is going to be seen in 'Devara', where the characters played by Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan will be seen as friends who become each other's enemies. The characters played by Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko of 'Dasara' fame will be their other friends. The same was revealed by an artist working on the film in a recent interview.
Before the release of 'Devil', Nandamuri Kalyanram said that the film goes beyond 'Game Of Thrones'. Interestingly, a similar reference was made by Prashanth Neel about his pan-Indian outing, 'Salaar'.
'Devara' is produced by NTR Arts and Yuvasudha Arts. The pan-Indian violent actioner, whose music is by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is by Rathnavelu, stars Janhvi Kapoor as the daughter of Srikanth's character. The film will be released in two parts. The first part will hit the cinemas on April 5, 2024.
