An Ormax Media report has stated that 'Pushpa 2' is much more awaited in Hindi than Prabhas' biggest releases of the year: 'Salaar' and 'Adipurush'. For the purpose of ranking, here is what the report took into consideration: "Most-awaited Hindi films, as on January 15, 2023. Only films releasing March 2023 onwards and whose trailer has not been released yet."
As per the study, Allu Arjun's pan-India film is at No. 1 position. At No. 2, 3 and 4 are 'Tiger 3', 'Singham Again', and Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'. Then comes Prabhas' 'Salaar', directed by Prashanth Neel.
It seems 'Pushpa 2' is more awaited than 'Salaar' because it is a sequel. The popularity of 'Salaar' among North Indians may not be high at this point in time. Even 'RRR', despite SS Rajamouli, took time to gain buzz. But 'KGF 2' gained buzz even before the promotions started.
'Adipurush' would have been ranked in the top 5 list had its teaser managed to create a strong buzz.
Ormax Media reports are taken seriously by Bollywood filmmakers like Karan Johar.
