On the occasion of International Women's Day, the makers of 'Nene Saroja' (coming with the caption 'Uraf Karam Chai') have talked about their pro-women's empowerment movie. Producer Dr. Sadanand Sharada and director Sriman Gummadavelli said that the movie promotes the view that women have to save fellow women.
Headlined by Kaushik Babu, Saanvi and Meghna, the film is gearing up for a release soon.
"This film attempts to show a path for girls and parents in our society," said Geeta Murthy, the Telangana State convenor of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. The makers made an appeal to the central and state governments to recognize 'Nene Saroja' as a message film and provide special concessions.
Suman, Chandra Mohan, Ananda Chakrapani, RS Nanda, Maheshwari, Radhika, Seetha Mahalakshmi, Abita, Madhu, Vinjamuri, Tapaswi, and others are part of the cast. The music has been composed by Ramesh Mukkera. Suddala Ashok Teja and Pakala Sarada have penned the lyrics.
