Last year, music director Swara Veenapani's name was logged on the Guinness Book of World Records after he played 72 melakarta ragas non-stop for 64 hours in London. The moniker Indian Maestro was conferred on him.

Megastar Chiranjeevi, Icon Star Allu Aravind, and seasoned artiste-cum-writer Tanikella Bharani yesterday felicitated the achiever for the international acclaim he has garnered.

Speaking on the occasion, the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor said, “We are very happy that Veenapani is a Telugu singer who has been feted by the Guinness Book of World Records. He played continuously for 64 hours and brought such a great award and fame to India."

Veenapani said that he feels extremely honoured about the felicitation at the hands of the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor. He paid obeisance to Sangeeta Saraswati through his words. "I am going to entertain listeners with my music in about 45 places in America and London. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Chiranjeevi who encouraged me in the past. I also thank the organizations and people who are supporting me."

Veenapani is in for a 4-month-long tour.
