Comedies set in a village are a rarity. In recent times, we have seen movies like 'Skylab' belong to the broad genre. 'Mem Famous' is another Telugu movie that attempts to present a set of madcap characters in a rural backdrop.
Produced by Lahari Films and Chai Bisket Films of 'Writer Padmabhushan' fame, the film will head to the theatres on June 2.
On Thursday, its first look was unveiled by the makers. Sumanth Prabhas headlines this film in the capacity of a male lead. Mani Aegurla, Mourya Chowdary, Saarya and Siri Raasi are part of the cast.

Producers Anurag Reddy, Sharath, and Chandru Manoharan described the film by using phrases like 'fun ride' and 'hilarious entertainer'.
Shyam Dupati (cinematographer), Kalyan Nayak (music), Srujana Adusumilli (editor), and Arvind Muli (art) are working on the movie.
