Uday Shankar of 'Miss Match', 'Aatagadharaa Shiva' and 'Nachindi Girl Friendu' fame will next be doing a rom-com with 'LIE' fame Megha Akash as the heroine. Directed by Manmohan, the project was today announced by producer Atluri Narayana Rao. Comedian Madhunandan will have a pivotal role in this untitled venture. Venkatesh Kakamanu of 'Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi' fame and Shashi are part of the cast.
At the launch event, Madhunandan said that he had read the whole script and that he is confident that this project will give the hero a huge fillip. He predicted that Uday will be catapulted to the next league after the rom-com releases this year.
The hero said that debutant writer-director Manmohan came up with an excellent script. "We are going to commence the regular shoot shortly. We need all your blessings and support," he added.
Starting the third week of April, the film will go on the floors. Billed as a complete package with family emotions, thrilling elements, and a love story, the project will be made by Sriram Movies as its most important outing.
Sri Charan Pakala and Anit Kumar are taking care of the music and cinematography departments, respectively.
