Yash Puri and Apoorva Rao are headlining a youthful entertainer titled 'Happy Ending'. A city-based movie with a coming-of-age arc, its teaser is out. Coming with the premise of a spiritual master's curse and how it affects the protagonist, 'Happy Ending' is laced with profound thoughts as per the makers.
Producer Anil Pallala, speaking at the teaser launch event, said that the director was chosen on the basis of the script's strength. He previously helmed a short film with the producer. The director thanked the producer for keeping faith in his script.
Actor Vishnu Oi said that he has got a peculiar character in the coming-of-age comedy. Karthik Ratnam said that content of this sort has been long in the waiting from Silly Monks.
Tiruveer of 'Masooda' fame said that Silly Monks first caught his attention with the 2019 movie 'George Reddy'. Actor Trigun of 'PSV Garuda Vega' fame added that Silly Monks is like a home banner for him, as the banner has introduced budding actors by the dozen.
Director Kaushik said that the teaser has been cut in such a way that the content doesn't get revealed. Hero Yash Puri said that he is sure the audience will be thoroughly entertained. "This is a coming-of-age story that will surely click with the audience," he added.
'Pushpa' actor Ajay Ghosh, Jhansi, Anitha Chowdhary, Harsh Roshan, and Jiya Sharma are part of the cast. Written by Naga Sai, the film has music by Ravi Ndiamarthy and cinematography by Ashok Seepally.
