Prabhas' fans are anxious amid rumours that 'Salaar' might stand postponed indefinitely. As of now, the pan-India actioner is slated to be released in theatres on December 22. However, the word is that a zero-update Diwali could mean that 'Salaar' will be pushed to March 2024. #UseLessHombaleFilms has been floated on Twitter.
Hombale Films, which is producing the movie, has been silent. The makers of the trend-setting 'KGF' have enraged Prabhas' fans by not giving a single consequential update in recent days. "There hasn't been a proper Teaser. There have been no updates ahead of Prabhas' birthday, and there have been no updates about a Diwali update either. Salaar's release is just seven weeks away. Despite being in the production phase for over two years, no proper video content has been released for the film," tweeted an angry Prabhas fan.
Recently, it was revealed that 750 vehicles were used for different action set pieces in the movie. It didn't seem like a promotional update but just a regular update to somehow keep the film in the news cycle.
