"A haunting tale from the rustic lands of Srikakulam (sic)," wrote the makers of 'Kota Bommali PS', unveiling its teaser. The film, directed by Teja Marni, is produced by GA2 Pictures. It will hit the cinemas on November 24.
Producers Bunny Vass and Vidya Koppineedi, days after releasing the song 'Lingi Lingi Lingidi', have unveiled a content-driven, racy teaser. Starring Srikanth, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rahul Vijay, Murali Sharma and Shivani Rajasekhar in key roles, the film is a political survival thriller.
When its Malayalam original 'Nayattu' was released, it was described as a subversive thriller. It has to be seen if the Telugu version has the caste angle or not.
"Power dynamics and politics, what political parties do in their quest for power, how their hunger for power puts three constables' lives in the line, is going to be very interesting," the makers said. Nagendra Kasi's dialogues in the teaser are incisive. The team urged the audience to watch the movie only in theatres upon its release on November 24.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Murali Sharma play arch-rivals, while Srikanth's character is prone to using profane language. The characterizations are true to life.
The film has cinematography by Jagadish Cheekati. Ranjin Raj has composed all the songs (barring one) and the background score. The film is edited by Karthika Srinivas R. Art Direction is by Gandhi Nadikudikar.
