Kamal Haasan today turned a year older. His 'Kalki 2898 AD' co-star, Prabhas, wished him a happy birthday, adding that he is fortunate to have got to work with him.
"To the actor, the legend, the icon we've grown up idolising... Happy Birthday Kamal Haasan sir. Fortunate to be working with you sir," the 'Adipurush' actor wrote on Instagram.
Their film will head to theatres in late 2024 or so. Also featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani, the Nag Ashwin directorial is expected to break new ground on the sci-fi front.
The versatile Kamal, known as the Universal Star, is playing a negative role in 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
Kamal is also doing 'Thug Life' with director Mani Ratnam and 'Indian 2' with Shankar. The former is co-written by the 'Vikram' actor. The latter, whose 'Intro' glimpse was released recently, features Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth and many others in different roles.
