Ananya Panday has suggested that she deeply regrets doing 'Liger', the 2022 film that turned out to be a disaster in terms of content. Although Puri Connects and Dharma Productions purportedly recovered their investment, the film's distributors lost heavily.
In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, Ananya said that she did the movie because Karan Johar and her mother, Bhavana Panday, had recommended it. After watching 'Liger', added the Bollywood actress, her mother sarcastically called it 'Fun'. As per Ananya, this is the worst review of the action entertainer.
In a way, Ananya took a swipe at the talent of director Puri Jagannadh. Her angst is justified, considering that 'Liger' virtually ended her career in Telugu. It has been more than a year since the Vijay Deverakonda-starrer was released in theatres. And the damsel has yet to land a single Telugu offer.
