Recently, Kollywood artist Mansoor Ali Khan made offensive remarks while quipping about him not getting to share screen space with Trisha Krishnan in 'Leo'. He said that he hoped for a rape scene with Trisha in the film. Boycott calls have been made against Khan since then. Thanks to Khushbu Sundar, the issue has already reached the National Commission for Women. Soon, Khan will be summoned by the NCW seeking an explanation.

On Monday, actor Nithiin became the first Telugu hero of notable fame to strongly condemn Khan's "vile and vulgar statement" against Trisha. The 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' actor wrote that chauvinism has no place in our society. "I urge everyone to stand up against such remarks against women in our industry," he tweeted.

On the work front, Nithiin awaits the release of 'Extra - Ordinary Man' on December 8. Directed by Vakkantham Vamsi and co-starring Sree Leela, the film has Dr. Rajasekhar in the role of a villain.
