'Skanda', to be released in theatres on September 28, stars Ram Pothineni in the lead. Directed by Boyapati Srinu, it is produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen.
On Monday evening, a public event named Cult Jaathara was hosted by the makers in Karimnagar. A massy, electrifying Release Trailer was unveiled on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ram thanked his fans for being there to cheer him and his movie. "Boyapati garu's films are synonymous with action sequences. But that's not what his mainstay is. His mainstay are the emotions behind those fights. Family emotions are the biggest merit of 'Skanda'. Boyapati garu's movies are known for a social element built into the story. 'Skanda', too, has got one. And that element will be the soul of this film," the 'RED' and 'Nenu Sailaja' actor said.
Boyapati said that he is tense only while making a film. "I sweat out. I pour my blood into the film. Once I am done, I don't stress out. I am confident that I have made a very good product. 'Skanda' will surely be blessed by the audience," he added.
The film's Release Trailer has since received a thumping response from Netizens. Srikanth and a host of artists seem to have got strongly-written roles in the movie. SS Thaman has composed the music.
