Nandamuri Mohan Krishna, the son of NT Rama Rao and a member of the NTR Literature Committee, along with Madhusudana Raju and the Telangana State Agriculture Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, today called onChief Minister Revanth Reddy. On this occasion, they briefed the dignitary on the activities undertaken by the NTR Literature Committee over the past year and a half.
They explained their plan to erect a 100-foot tall statue of the thespian-turned-statesman in Hyderabad and also establish an NTR Knowledge Center. They requested the Telangana government to allocate land for this project.
The CM expressed his happiness and agreed to allocate government land in Hyderabad, especially near the Outer Ring Road, for the installation of a 100-foot statue. The government will also provide support for the establishment of the NTR Knowledge Center. Revanth Reddy appreciated the activities being undertaken by the NTR Literature Committee. He said that NTR is a beloved actor and leader for all Telugu people and that they would extend their full cooperation to the proposal to erect the gigantic statue of him in Hyderabad.
The NTR Literature Committee expressed their gratitude and thanks to the CM for his positive response.
