'AAY', starring Narne Nithiin of 'MAD' fame and Nayan Sarika in lead roles, is slated to be released in theatres on August 15. On Friday, its Theme Song was released by GA2 Pictures at an event in Hyderabad. Composed by Ajay Arasada, the song is written by lyricist Suresh Banisetti.

Speaking on the occasion, director Anji Kanchipalli said, "The film's scenes are based on my life experiences and observations in the town where I grew up. Although Nithiin is a city-bred person, he could get into the skin of the rural character so well. Rajkumar Kasireddy's performance will be loved by the audience. Ram Miriyala has composed other songs in the movie."

Composer Ajay Arasada thanked producer Bunny Vasu and presenter Allu Aravind for the opportunity. "I must thank the singers of this Theme Song. I also thank Suresh for the wonderful lyrics," he added.

Actor Ankith Koyya said, "'AAY' will be regarded as one of the best comedies. We all repeatedly watch scenes from comedies like 'Nuvvu Naku Nacchav', 'Malliswari' and 'Hanuman Junction'. 'AAY' will join the list."

Presenter Allu Aravind said that 'AAY' is apt because it is used in a variety of contexts. "'Fidaa' was deemed as a Telangana title but the film became a super-hit in Andhra as well. 'AAY' is thoroughly enjoyable. I appreciate director Anji's timing. I appreciate actor Narne Nithiin for accepting this comedy entertainer. For him, heroism is not on his mind. He has so much ease. This film will take you to the rains of the Godavari region. Many scenes in the film are rain-soaked. And each of those scenes were shot when it rained for real," he added.

Producer Bunny Vas said, "I urge the media to support 'AAY'. I prefer my movies to be fun-oriented. The importance of fun in stressful work conditions is something I have imbibed from Allu Aravind garu. 'AAY' is so hilarious that your cheeks are going to ache from laughing continuously for two hours. 'AAY' is not story-centric. Its sole purpose is to keep you laughing throughout. Memers are going to find so much material in our film."

Actor Narne Nithiin said, "This is a purely entertaining Godavari film that is about the importance of friendship. Ajay and Ram have composed excellent songs."
