'Vishwambhara', starring Megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead, has been in the making for two months now. The news is that actress Ashrita Vemuganti, who was recently seen as YS Vijayamma in Mahi V Raghava's 'Yatra 2', will be seen in a crucial role in the Mallidi Vassishta directorial.
The buzz in the town is that she had to be roped in because 'Naa Saami Ranga' actress Ashika Ranganath was not available to do the fantasy entertainer. Ashrita is also known for her appearances in films like 'Maharshi', 'Baahubali 2', 'Krack', and 'Dear Comrade'.
The film features Trisha Krishnan as the main female lead. Surbhi, comedian Vennela Kishore and others are part of the cast. 'Vishwambhara', whose music is by MM Keeravani, will head to theatres on January 10, 2025.
Produced by UV Creations, the film has AS Prakash as the production designer. The pan-Indian flick has Sushmita Konidela as the costume designer.
