The other day, speaking at a public platform in the presence of Mohan Babu and his other family members, Manchu Manoj made some remarks that have been deemed to be a sly dig at the Jagan Mohan Reddy brand of politics. On Thursday, taking to social media, Manoj made it clear that he didn't speak out against any particular leader or politician.
"My message was aimed at promoting universal values of togetherness and understanding. I have no affiliations with any political party and maintain relationships across the entire political spectrum due to my personal and family connections," Manoj said.
He added that some technical glitches made his speech sound partial and out of context. "As a film actor, my primary aim is to unite and entertain through the medium of cinema. I thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and the immense love you have shown towards my family and me. Your kindness and solidarity mean the world to us," he added.
Manoj, thanking his father's upbringing, said that he is above "caste, creed or religion, and we as a family truly believe in it".
