The audio launching event of ‘Maveeran’ (Magadheera) took place in Chennai on April 24th in Chennai. Dr Kamal Hassan graced the audio function as the chief guest and released the first audio CD and presented it to the veteran director Maniratnam. Other important guests in the function were Allu Aravind, Ram Charan Tej, SS Rajamouli, Allu Sirish, Udhayanidhi Stalin, K S Ravi Kumar, Dharani, Suhasini Maniratnam, etc.
Later addressing the gathering Ram Charan Tej expressed his confidence over Maveeran’s success and said, “I grew up watching Kamal Hassan’s films and I’m a very big fan of him. I’m basically a calm person and do not involve in others matters. I still remember my school Padma Sheshadri and the teachers in Chennai.”
SS Rajamouli also spoke in the audio function and recollected his past memories. He said, “I can never forget the days I worked as an assistant director in Chennai. My family used to live in Valasaravakkam. I traveled by city bus to watch films in Satyam theater. I used to dream big while watching films in Satyam theater. I used to always think that one day my directorial film also should be screened in Satyam theater. The dream which I had during those days is finally coming true in the form of Ram Charan’s ‘Magadheera’. I’m very happy that it is being dubbed into Tamil as ‘Maveeran’. I will definitely watch this film in Satyam theater.”
