Rana Daggubati, who expressed his desire to do Tamil films some time ago, is going to test his waters now. As per the sources, Rana will be doing a key role in a Tamil film starring Simbu which is being directed by a national award winner Vetrimaran. Right now the actor is busy with a Telugu film ‘Naa Ishtam’ and RGV’s Bollywood flick ‘Department’. This apart, he is likely to shoot for Krish’s ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadguru’ shortly.
Rana was to do a bilingual film with Selva Raghavan (7G Brindavanam Colony & Aaduvari Matalaku Ardhale Verule) last year but somehow it did not materialize.
