Srikanth’s latest political thriller ‘Virodhi’ under the direction of
Neelakanta is getting ready for release in 1st week of June. Bengali beauty Kamalini Mukherjee is starring opposite Srikanth in this action entertainer. The film has a tagline ‘A violent Indian story’. Srikanth’s brother Anil Meka is producing it under Meka Media banner. ‘Virodhi’ showcases the present political issues on naxal backdrop.
Srikanth plays the journalist for the first time in his career. Music is scored by R P Patnaik. H M Ramachandra, who was a two time national award winner handled camera for this film. Right now the unit is busy in re-recording and mixing work.
Other prominent artists are Ajay, Shivaji Raja, Kamal Kamaraju, Ravi Varma, Ahuti Prasad, Nagineedu, Sriramya, Gopikrishna, Altaf, Rupali, Kiran Varanasi, Ramjagan, etc.
Fights were choreographed by Ravi Varma, dances by Suchitra Chandra Bose and editng by Shankar.
