Ram Gopal Varma, who directed a sensational film ‘Shiva’ and gave a good break to Nagarjuna, is now producing the film ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ with Naga Chaitanya as hero. Vivek Krishna is directing this film with RGV as producer under Shreya Productions. The film was launched today at Vijayawada. The movie is on Vijayawada backdrop about 20 years ago. But RGV claims that all characters are fictitious and no incident in the film is related to anything that occurred during that period. According to him, ‘Bezawada Rowdeelu’ is a commercial action film showing Naga Chaitanya in a new angle. The first shooting schedule will begin on May 27th at Vijayawada and the following schedules will be in June, July and August respectively. The movie will be released in October as an offering to Bezawada Kanaka Durgamma.
While a prominent heroine will be cast opposite Naga Chaitanya, other star cast in the film is Kota Srinivasa Rao, Abhimanyu Singh, Ahuti Prasad, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Mukul Dev, Ajay, Ashok Kumar, Phani, Bharath, Sravan, etc.
