Ajith, Trisha starrer ‘Poorna Market’ is ready for release on May 27th. This is the Telugu dubbed version of a 1998 Tamil super hit film ‘Kireedam’ which was directed by A L Vijay. To be presented by Adlabs, Shivaji is producing it under Namo Venkatesa Films banner.
According to producer Shivaji, the entire film will revolve around the market. It has been crafted as a complete entertainer with action, comedy and family elements. The shooting was held in Rajahmundry and Vizag. The story goes like this. A sincere policeman Rajarajan’s (Raj Kiran) dream is to see his son Sakthivel (Ajith) as a police officer. But just as Sakthivel is about to join the police force, he fails to do so in the last minute and shatters his father’s dream. Despite his father’s unwillingness, he turns into a market rowdy only to fight an honest war beyond the matrix of a law. How the father and son reconcile to the new reality is the story all about. The scenes involving Raj Kiran and Ajith are heart touching. While Ajith will be seen as a market rowdy, Trisha essays the role of a college student. The youth are sure to enjoy the romantic scenes between Ajith and Trisha.
Other star cast is Saranya, Vivek, Cochin Haneefa, Ravi Kale, Meena Kumari, Sudeepa, Santanam, etc. Dialogues are written by Vennelakanti, songs by Vennelakanti and Ramajogayya Sastry, camera by Thiru and music by G V Prakash Kumar.
