A R Murugadoss’s first production venture titled ‘Engayum Eppodum’ was made in Tamil by partnering with Fox Star Studios. This movie is now being presented by Studio N and 3 K Entertainments in Telugu as ‘Journey’. Suresh Kondeti is bringing this film to the Telugu audience under his banner S K Pictures. The film has recently completed its dubbing work. Sharwanad, Jai, Ananya and Anjali are the main lead cast. Interesting part is that Anjali dubbed her voice in Telugu also along with Tamil.
On this occasion Anjali said, “The Telugu audience accepted me in my previous film ‘Shopping Mall’. Now I’m coming up with the new film ‘Journey’. This movie was made with a unique concept. The story revolves around two love pairs. While I and Jai acted as one pair, Sharwanad and Ananya are the second pair. ‘Journey’ is a feel good movie and will not give you the feel of watching a dubbed film. The songs are excellent and I’m sure that everyone will like them. Audio will be released soon. At the time of ‘Shopping Mall’ release, Suresh Kondeti garu suggested me to dub my voice in Telugu since I’m a Telugu speaking girl due to which I’m able to connect with the audience easily. Hence I dubbed my voice for this film also. I’m very happy to dub my voice for Tamil as well as Telugu version. I wish a grand success for ‘Journey’.”
Producer Suresh Kondeti said, “After presenting super hit films like Premisthe, Shopping Mall and Naanna to the Telugu audience while I was looking for another good film to dub and release in Telugu, it was Anjali who suggested me to buy this film. Later I met Murugadoss and bought the dubbing rights. The main attraction of this film is Anjali dubbing her own voice. We are planning to launch the audio soon and also release the film after that. I hope the audience will make this film a grand success just like they did for my previous films.”
Sahiti, who penned dialogues and lyrics for ‘Journey’ said, “I’ve been in the film industry for the past 35 years as a song writer. Even though I worked for one or two dubbed films in the past, I’m grateful to him for giving opportunity to write lyrics for one such film which is unforgettable in life. ‘Engayum Eppodum’, which is ‘Journey’ in Telugu is a spectacular film that is like a painting. It’s such a sensitive film sketched by director Saravanan with the story revolving around two love pairs. Added to that is Satya’s music. I turned out to be his fan after listening to his music. He composed four beautiful melodies and one mass song. People will not forget these days after listening to them. I worked hard to write the dialogues for this film. ‘Journey’ will be on par with Suresh Kondeti’s previous releases. I whole-heartedly wish ‘Journey’ a grand success.”
