Shraddha Das, who is well known for playing second heroine roles in most of the films in her career, has signed yet another film titled ‘Rey’. The film, which is being directed by
YVS Chowdary featuring Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej and Shubra Aiyappa in lead roles, had Amruta Patki as second heroine opposite Sai Dharam Tej. But now YVS replaced her with
Shraddha Das who is going to essay the role of a popstar. As per Shraddha’s tweet, even though she is the second heroine, her role in the film is equally important to that of the main heroine. Since the story is on the US backdrop, the major part of the film is being shot there. ‘Rey’ is a youthful musical romantic flick which is expected to release during summer 2012. Besides direction, YVS is also producing it.
