Dasari Kiran Kumar, who is producing ‘Genius’ introducing Havish as hero and Omkar as director says that Audience will feel proud after watching the movie ‘Genius’. On the eve of his birthday on Wednesday, producer Kiran shared his views on his upcoming production venture ‘Genius’.
This politician cum real estate entrepreneur who stepped into the movie field by trusting the story written by Chinni Krishna said, “I can proudly and boldly say that ‘Genius’ is first of its kind in Telugu Cinema which will stand as the best film of 2012. I started off this project by estimating the budget of Rs 6 crores. However, I have increased the budget upto Rs 12 crores only upon the belief I had on the film. Chinni Krishna wrote the story on par with super hits like ‘Narasimha’, ‘Narasimhanaidu’, ‘Indra’, ‘Gangotri’ and ‘Badrinath’ and like filmmaker Shankar on national level. Omkar worked very hard for 11 months to direct this film. Similarly technicians like Diwakaran, Josha Sridhar, M R Varma, super Subbarayan and Chinna played vital roles in crafting the movie. Parachuri Brothers, who wrote dialogues for 315 movies have rendered dialogues for this film. Their dialogues and Vissu’s screenplay are the major assets to the film.
‘Genuis’ will be a landmark movie in Havish’s career just the way ‘Khaidi’ to Chiranjeevi, ‘Shiva’ to Nagarjuna and ‘Aadi’ to Jr NTR. The movie is sure to become a trend setter soon after its release. We have sold the movie in all centers except Nizam. We would definitely close the business in another two days in Nizam also and make efforts to release the movie on December 21st. Executive producer Muthyala Ramesh had supported us a lot. On the other hand, Dasari Narayana Rao garu and VV Vinayak garu offered their blessings behind the screen.
