Venkatesh and Nayanatara teamed up once again after delivering super hits like 'Lakshmi' and 'Tulasi'. The film titled 'Radha' in this super hit combination will be directed by Maruthi, who started off his career with three consecutive hits. After 'Naayak' DVV Danayya is producing this film on Universal Media banner with D Parvathy as its presenter. The film will be launched on January 16 and regular shooting will progress from February.
DVV Danayya said, "After delivering super hit film like 'Naayak' in 2013 on our banner Universal Media, we are now coming out with this film under Maruthi's direction with D Parvathy as presenter. We have selected the title 'Radha' for the film. Director Maruthi is known to me for quite a long time. I got impressed with his story and immediately approached Venkatesh. He too gave his nod in single sitting. Similarly Nayantara also got attracted to Maruthi's story and screenplay and gave her dates within 30 minutes. While Venkatesh will be seen as a Home Minister, Nayanatara is playing a middle class woman. It's a love story being made as per the present trend. Maruthi, who knows the pulse of the audience is going to portray Venkatesh differently. This youthful film will remain as a complete family entertainer on our banner.
