Successful director Maruthi has set a new trend to small films with youthful entertainers like ‘Ee Rojullo’, ‘Bus Stop’ (as director) and ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ (as presenter) and became a role model to many small and new filmmakers in the industry. He is currently filming ‘Kotha Janta’ with Allu Sirish and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. This film is being produced by Bunny Vasu under Geeta Arts banner. This apart, he is also presenting another film titled ‘Lovers’ featuring Sumanth Ashwin and Nandita as lead pair. This film is being jointly produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsy and Mahendra under the banner Maya Bazaar Movies. Harinath is the director.
On the occasion of his birthday today, he took some time out and spoke to the media. In his interview he said, “I took advance from five big producers. Bunny Vasu, Bellamkonda Suresh, Radhakrishna, Danayya and Dil Raju. Aadi Sheshagiri Rao and UTV are planning the remake of ‘Prema Katha Chitram’ in a big way. ‘Love You Bangaram’ and ‘Green Signal’ are upcoming releases under my home banner.”
